What is RAM?:
RAM stands for Random Access Memory.RAM is like an electronic scrath pad inside the computer . RAM holds data and instructions while CPU work's with them,it is loaded into computer memory for fast access as new data and information entered into the computer,it is also stored in memory but temporarily.Data instructions as both work's, like written and read from memory.

RAM is made up of a set of chips nominated on a small circuit board. RAM is volatile,like meaning that it loose it's it's content or data when the computer Power shut off.Therefore, RAM needs a constant supply of power. Generally,the more RAM a computer has,and faster it can perform certain tasks. Today's computers generally have at least 4 GB Random Access Memory, many system are 16 GB or more RAM. It is used to the data and information temporarily.
Advantages of RAM:-
- Increase the CPU speed.also more RAM holds , working operation very fast.
- RAM is efficient and extremely fast.
- It can perform read and write operations.
Disadvantages of RAM:-
- RAM is volatile.
- RAM is more power consuming.
- Ram is expensive.
History of RAM:-
- The first RAM was William tube invented or creat in 1947 ,at Manchester University in England.It is stored the data as in cathode Ray tube [CRT].
- MOS [metal oxide semiconductor] RAM in 1959.
- SRAM-1965.
- DRAM-1970.
- SDRAM-1993.
- SGRAM-1998[synchronus graphic RAM].
Types of RAM:-
- SRAM: SRAM stands for static random access memory.these type RAM is stored data in transistor and requires a constant peer flow. SRAM is called static because no change or action.It is used in cache memory.
- DRAM: DRAM stands for Dynamic Random Access Memory.It is stored data in capacitors, that Store data in DRAM gradually discharge energy,no energy but the data has been erased. DRAM is called dynamic memory as gradually change or action.It is implemented to main memory.
- RDRAM: RDRAM stands for Rambous Dynamic Random Access Memory.these type of ram store data in parallel capacitors.Data transfer rate of RDRAM is 800MHz(or)1,600MBps.
- SDRAM: SDRAM stands for Synchronus Dynamic Random Access Memory, invent and realese 1993.These are (Dual In-line Memory Module) DIMM.
- DDRSDRAM:DDRSDRAM stands for Double Data Rate Synchronus Dynamic Random Access Memory. Samsung was developed and released first DDR RAM in 1998 as help of JEDEC team.also devloped DDR 2-2003, DDR3-2007, DDR4-2014, DDR5-july 14,2020.
- DDR5 is latest version of the RAM.

Mobile Phone needs between 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM and more.4Gb Ram is generally use,like social media, internet using and small games and medium type game play.6,8GB Ram usage as high graphical gaming and fast internet exploring.
